Dan is currently traveling the Mediterranean onboard AIDAblu as a lead vocalist and having a blast!

In the coming months he will begin training as a Music Supervisor with AIDA Cruise Lines, continuing to travel and share his love of music with future performers!

The things I value most are my family, friends, music, travel, animals, and mental/physical health. It’s most important for me to keep in mind that there is always room to grow and learn, we essentially know nothing.

“I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is to try and please everyone.”

I was adopted when I was very young and grew up in a very small town in PA. Kutztown was also the birthplace of the artist Keith Haring! My birth parents, whom I’ve never met, had two requirements for the family that would raise me. One parent had to be working in a medical field of some kind (my adopted Mom was a cardiac rehab nurse) and the other requirement was that I be put into music somehow.

I began classical piano lessons at the age of 5 and soon became a competitive pianist and joined the school band playing clarinet until graduating high school. But I fell in love with musical theatre once I booked the role of Friedrich at a local dinner theatre and that changed everything. I knew piano would always be in my life but the feeling of being on stage brought such joy.

I decided to study Music Theatre in college at the Hartt School in Connecticut. Studying abroad in Italy was the highlight, and spawned another passion: travel. I moved to NYC after graduating Summa Cum Laude and booked a gig performing with Disney Cruise Line. Alaska, Mexico, Nova Scotia and the Bahamas made me quite content for about 2 years. A few years later I traveled the world once again with Aida Cruise Line on three contracts covering Iceland, Greenland, Norway, Baltic Sea, Canary Islands, Mediterranean, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Australia!
